What is Tiger's Eye Stone?
Tiger's Eye stone belongs to the quartz family (chatoyant), with an internal silky luster created by amphibole fibers fossilized within the crystal. It has a deep golden-brown color, sometimes reddish-burgundy due to the presence of iron. The moving "wave" effect observed in the stone is the result of millions of microscopic fibers, each reflecting light at a different angle.
